My Galaxy Collection was inspired by, obviously, Galaxies! haha...
But what's unique?
The combination of elements which make up the concept.
I wanted to combine Flowers, Faces and Hair into my collection.
Portraying a dreamy, feminine, elegant and graceful mood - with a combination of elements is what created a unique look and feel. My purpose behind the paintings was to make the viewer feel contemplative and then interpret the it in their own way, relating to their own personality.
The Galaxy colours - blues, indigos, purples, black and white, all create a calming aesthetic and out of the world (literally) effect! *pun intended*
Mediums: All of these are done on paper, using oil pastels and pencils. I have added 3d crepe paper for the flowers
This one is on a canvas, using acrylic paint and 3d crepe paper for some of the planets.
